Engagement
How a dividend research engagement moves from intake to annotated opportunity note — timelines, materials, and what happens after delivery.
Apifabric Base engagements are finite research projects. This page sets expectations before you request a briefing.
Path from first message to delivery
- Enquiry — Share the consultation type, tickers or sector of interest, and any hard exclusions. We reply within two working days.
- Scope letter — Fixed fee, timeline, deliverables, and deposit terms are confirmed by email before work starts.
- Materials — You send holdings exports, prior notes, and income targets under a confidentiality understanding.
- Desk work — Analysts read filings, rebuild coverage views, and draft the note or review.
- Briefing — We walk the findings with you by video or at Deansgate, then finalise the written pack.
- Archive — You retain the PDF note. Clarification calls within thirty days can be booked at the published follow-up fee.
Materials that speed the work
- Broker or custodian holdings list with ISINs where possible
- Your income need by quarter if cash timing matters
- Known corporate actions or rights issues already on your radar
- Preference for ordinary shares only, or inclusion of prefs and investment trusts
What we will not do in an engagement
We do not execute orders, custody assets, or issue ongoing model portfolios. We will decline work that requires insider information or that asks us to certify a guaranteed yield.
